This programme aims at creating self-reliance through restoration of various livelihood capacities for affected communities. It is geared towards transition from humanitarian assistance or aid dependency to development through provision of skills development, income generation activities such as small-scale business activities. This creates strong foundation for greater social stability and peaceful coexistence among the returnees, IDPs and host communities.
